National Internship Program 2024 Applications

At the end of the spring semester, in the summer, our 2nd year and 3rd year students will do an internship. During the current pandemic, students may have difficulty finding an internship due to workplaces switching to remote work due to the pandemic, companies closing/downsizing due to economic reasons, or contact-related reasons.

At this point, the Presidency’s Human Resources Office started a study called “Internship Mobilization Project” to help university students find internships. Through CBİKO’s Career Door platform, institutions/organizations will make job/internship requests and students will have the opportunity to register, find an internship place and apply for an internship.

The Internship Mobilization Project allows students who study at universities and want to gain experience through internships to obtain internship opportunities through the Career Door platform, which is based on merit principles and provides equal opportunities.

Candidates who apply to the job opening on the platform are asked by employers; They are evaluated based on their Academic / Vocational, Artistic / Social and Sports Competencies. During the internship offer submission process, candidates’ identity information is not made available to employers. In this way, candidates are evaluated only on the basis of the qualifications they possess and have equal opportunities.

Who Can Apply?
Continuing their education at universities in Turkey, TRNC and abroad and having a GPA* of at least 2 out of 4 (equivalent in other systems);

2nd, 3rd or 4th year students of formal education undergraduate programs (faculty of medicine, teaching and dentistry departments are not included.)
1st or 2nd year students of associate degree programs providing formal education
And

Turkish Citizens or Blue Card holder students who are continuing their master’s/doctoral education at universities abroad
*Since the GPA has not yet been determined, this requirement is not required for first year associate degree students during the application period.
**Date of the internship; It is expected that 2nd year undergraduate and 1st year associate degree students have moved up to the next grade, 4th year undergraduate and 2nd year associate degree students have not graduated, and the GPA of 1st year associate degree students is expected to be above 2. Otherwise, employers may cancel internship offers.
