Current compulsory internship application forms and process information have been published for students enrolled in the STJ100 Summer Internship I and STJ200 Summer Internship II courses to do an internship in the summer term of 2024.

Things to Do Before Internship
1. Internship Pre-Application
Students examine the companies to apply for internship between these dates, and after finding the company that complies with the Departmental Internship Application Principles, prepare the Compulsory Internship Form in 4 copies to have the internship place approved by the Departmental Internship Commission.
2. Internship Application
Compulsory Internship Forms prepared by the student are submitted to the Department Internship Committee for review to check the suitability of the internship place.
3. Appropriate Evaluation of Internship Place
The suitability of internship places is examined and evaluated by the Department Internship Commission.
4. Submission of Final Internship Documents
Students whose internship places are suitable have the Compulsory Internship Forms prepared in 4 copies approved by the relevant companies with wet signature and stamp; Deliver the signed and stamped documents to the Department Secretariat.
5. Carrying out Insurance Transactions
At least 15 days before starting the compulsory internship, in order to carry out the insurance transactions, the student must submit the stamped-signed-approved Compulsory Internship Form, Eligibility Certificate (to be obtained via e-Devlet) and the Information Text Form for Interns in his/her own handwriting on the 2nd page with the statement “I have read and understood”. and submits it to the Department Secretariat.
The above mentioned procedures must be completed completely and submitted to the department secretariat before the specified deadline in order for insurance entries to be made on time. Otherwise, the student cannot do an internship/his internship will be invalid.
Things to Do After Internship
1. Preparation of Internship Notebook
The internship notebook is prepared digitally, in accordance with the internship notebook template.
The prepared internship notebook should be printed on one side and bound in a way that it will not fall apart.
All pages of the internship notebook are signed by both the student and the responsible engineer.
The responsible engineer signs the pages of the notebook with his name, stamps and writes his diploma/registration number. Mere signatures without stamps and diploma/registry numbers are not accepted.
2. Submission of Documents at the End of the Internship
At the end of the internship, the Internship Notebook, the Internship Continuation-Follow-Up Form and the Internship Evaluation Form must be submitted in a closed envelope with a stamped cover.
It can be delivered to the Department Internship Committee by hand or by mail/courier.

*** Insurance procedures for students who want to do volunteer internships are carried out by the university. In addition to the internship forms, the Volunteer Internship Information Form should also be submitted.
